Perhaps I am overlooking this, but after adding a test description to a project, I see this description displayed no where? I was assuming that it would be displayed beneath the title of the project on the “Projects” tab… but after a good search, I don’t see it on any page.

BinaryEric,

You are correct. The project description currently shows only in the project settings page. We realize this is a bit useless and are interested in making it appear in more places IF and when it might help people differentiate between multiple projects. For instance, it could go in the feeds or on the project overview pages.

Would this sort of information help you or is it something we should consider removing altogether?

David, Yes, actually I think it could be very useful as a short explanation displaying on either the Projects page (beneath each Projects title) or on the Overview page of each project. When I think of a good project dashboard, I envision seeing the project title, a short description, and even a small logo if I have one. I think it really improves usability.

Thanks BinaryEric,

We have been considering some updates to the Account Dashboard and Project Overviews to help users differentiate between the two views. We will definitely consider this suggestion as we look at making any changes to those pages.
