Unfuddle uses public key cryptography to authenticate all access to Git repositories over SSH. In order to use an Unfuddle Git Repository, you will need to generate a keypair and provide Unfuddle with the public portion. If you already have a public/private keypair, then you may use your existing public key without having to create a new one.
$ ssh-keygen -t rsa
Generating public/private rsa key pair.
Enter file in which to save the key (/home/user/.ssh/id_rsa): [enter for default]
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): [password]
Enter same passphrase again: [password confirmation]
Your identification has been saved in /home/user/.ssh/id_rsa.
Your public key has been saved in /home/user/.ssh/id_rsa.pub.
The key fingerprint is:
46:1b:99:56:77:0b:38:1e:35:92:de:94:58:b4:f3:d4 user@machine
$ cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

On Windows, you can either use the ssh-keygen tool provided with msysGit, or a more generic tool such as PuTTYgen.
Once you have the full contents of the key (including the ssh-rsa prefix and the trailing user@machine), you should then paste that into your Personal Settings in Unfuddle.
